Purpose Driven Women
At Hallelujah Farm, we are inspired by people. We are inspired by historical figures, faith leaders, modern heroes, our families and friends, our guests. And, many, many of those people are women. We know it to be true that women can do anything. We know it to be true that women bring life into this world; they make change and breed hope. So, with our great respect for women of all walks of life and in light of Women’s History Month and International Women’s Day, we wanted to share six incredible women who have led their lives with purpose and focus.

Acts of Service
MLK day is meant to be a day of service. A day when you can honor and serve your community. But, we can’t let that only be for one day. Although there are challenges that come with volunteering in the midst of a pandemic, there are still ample opportunities that need to be taken advantage of.
Volunteering time is not only of massive benefit to the organizations and people being served but it is also good for the soul of the volunteer. We can fill our cups by helping others, we can meet like-minded people, we can be uplifted by working together.

Building Community
2020 was a year filled with challenges. So many felt the struggles of isolation and loneliness. These are challenges that will likely be coming along into this new year. Let’s take 2021 as an opportunity to find a new perspective on this situation and to find new ways to deal with the continued need for social distancing.

Building Resilience
Those of us who focus our selves and our lives on loving-kindness have to build our resilience in order to carry on down this path. So often the world appears to be filled with and focused on the negativity and hardships that exist instead of the positive energy that we can all put into solving those problems and building each other up. Without the ability to spring back and refocus, it is easy to get sucked into that darkness.
